Have I told you how much I LOVE Homegoods? Oh Let me Count the Ways...

(stock photo from Homegoods)
I love Homegoods the same way my husband loves his Harley.
I love Homegoods the same way my dogs love a good belly rub and a kong filled with treats.
I love Homegoods the same way chocolate loves peanut butter.
I Love Homegoods the same way Paris Hilton loves the tabloids,
I love Homegoods the same way The Bachelor contestants love their 15 minutes of fame...
And I know that YOU will love Homegoods (if you don't already)!
For the past few months I have been working on re-doing my living room mantle. Can you believe that I had the same decor on my mantle for 5 years? I am so embarrassed to even tell you that, but I figure the truth can only set me free! So the truth is, I suffer from the "Change Scares Me" syndrome.

For the past few months I have been working on re-doing my living room mantle. Can you believe that I had the same decor on my mantle for 5 years? I am so embarrassed to even tell you that, but I figure the truth can only set me free! So the truth is, I suffer from the "Change Scares Me" syndrome.

(here is a picture of my "old" mantle, the one that was with me for 5 years. don't be scared by this picture of my mantle and my big ole head. It was the only one I could find and I am 6 months pregnant in it. Geesh, don't show anyone else)
But that has all changed! I am getting braver at changing things up. The word "change" and I are getting to know one another. I think I might even like it!
And Homegoods is a place that helps me to do it cheap (well maybe not cheap, but cheaper).
My new mantle! I love it and I love that it is still a work in progress. Not everything is brand new, but a few of the key pieces were found on the oh so decadent shelves at my local Homegoods.
See this beautiful vase, pot, Italian villa looking thing? I LOVE it, it makes me feel like I live in Tuscany and that makes me happy. Where did I get it? Homegoods of course.

And here is another great piece. What I love is that these pieces do not scream "Hi I was purchased at such and such a store." You know what I mean, there are some stores out there where everything has a certain look. Not Homegoods, they have an eclectic group of home decor items. (don't you love the price tag on the black candle stick in the background? That is one of my annoying habits that drives my friends crazy.
Totally off topic from my mantle but still within the range of raving about Homegoods. Check out my new coffee table (we didn't even have one for 5 years)
I purchased this table for a fraction of the cost of retail. I think it was $299.
See this table? It is from the Ballard Design Collection. ($800) I LOVE Ballard Designs. I love checking my mail every week so I can glance through the amazing pages of beautiful design items. DOn't get me wrong, I can't afford it, but I like to get ideas! Thanks Homegoods for helping me to change up my house decor for just a bit cheaper!
