Cookies

My new favorite past time....making cookies!  I have always loved to bake and now in my old age I find it quite therapeutic! When I bake...there is always a beginning and an end.  No one can tell me what to do and the end result is always something beautiful or at least  yummy!

 Clearly I need a new camera but these are cookies I made for my friend Sara.  She just had her first baby boy and I went to visit her today! 

You know me...always in a quest to find my special talent in life!  This week I am thinking that maybe I should go to pastry school?!  No seriously, I already looked up schools.  I am thinking maybe I could go to Europe and study.  But then reality hit...a 10 week class is close to 7K and then what would I do with my husband, my child and my dog?  Umm...just minor details I have yet to work out.

For now, I will just settle for making special treats for family and friends!
