We saw HIM....
...in the 6 truck loads and 2 trailor loads it took to empty our garage of donated items from friends and perfect strangers. .
We saw HIM...

...in the boxes after boxes of clothes that were unpacked and hung on a neighbors fence.
...in our friends tireless attention to detail, pricing and neatly organizing shoes, games, toys, sheets and dishes.

We saw HIM...
...in the faces of fellow adoptive parents who found us through Craigslist, Facebook, emails or mutual friends. Some came to shop, others to pray for us and still some came to simply hand us a check. None had ever met us before yet all came to support us, to support adoption.
We saw HIM...
in the faces of all our friend's...they worked hard, sweat a lot, got little sleep and never complained. They did it all with smiles on their faces. They showed us what it truly means to serve others.

Clearly no one got enough sleep from Friday night!

Mabell let us use her house for the garage sale. We aren't allowed to have them in our neighborhood...booooo.
We saw HIM...
...in the small change purses, filled with hard-earned allowance money, given to us in their entirety..so that we could get a baby. Those special friends taught us what it means to love Jesus like a child. I only pray Sydney will have a heart that finds happiness in giving and I pray I would be a mom that encourages and trains her heart to give...just like my friends have done for their children.
We saw HIM...
...in all the customers (both people and dogs!) and all the sold signs throughout the day.

Yep, she bought the Baby Bijorn for her dog!

There are so many other times we caught a glimpse of God's divine presence at this event...too many to count and list on this here blog. Plus I am not sure if any of you are still reading this super dooper long post!
When is the last time you caught a glimpse of God?
Whenever my eyes are weary and I need to see HIM, I pray this simple prayer, "Lord, please reveal yourself to me today in a way that I would know it's you."
