But if we really look, if we see things as God sees them, we would find one big story. One big love story he is writing in our lives. But we have to look bigger. We have to scoot back from the table, rise high into the sky and look at our life from a bird’s eye view.
Then and only then can we really see the small moments, the individual pictures of joy. Baby feet and toes, a child’s first bite of a pickle, my daughter reading words for the very first time. These are all the small moments of joy that can only be seen if we look higher, look longer and look broader.
Maybe we have to look wider to see what is right in front of us.

How important to see the beautiful small, but when we take a wider view, the collection of all the moments strung together create a stunning tapestry of life. I'm so thankful for the peace that comes in knowing God takes the wide view.
