Inspired Adoption links Just For You

We all have stories to tell.  I know I sound like a broken record.  But we all need the reminder.

And no stories are more fascinating to me than adoption stories.  So grab your latte, pull up a chair and read a few of my favorite stories from this week.  You won't be dummer for it!

First off,  Lindsay over at "Miracles Form" may have just officially wrecked my life for the better.  My christmas plans may have just gotten a little crazy up in here!

Did you know that you can host an orphan in your home this Christmas?  Am I the last one to know about this?

Lindsay's' blog is a must read and her post entitled Love Works gives us an unclose look at what it looks like to truly love someone.  And it may or may not have something to do with a bathing suit and ramen noodles.  Read on sister!

Adoption is all about traveling the unknown isn't it?

Are you in the midst of an adoption?  Things taking longer than you thought?  Not sure of the outcome.  Jenny starts our weekend off right with His Blessings are Higher and Greater. Nurture your soul and read these words,  you will be so glad you did.

Open Adoptions, oh how I loathe love thee!  You all know our story with the ups and downs of open adoption and we wouldn't trade it for anything.  "Becoming a Family of Four" will make you feel right at home if you know what it's like to wait and bide your time.

Think moving is stressful? I know I just about lost my mind last summer when we moved and it was only 10 minutes down the road.  Imagine moving from China to Texas.  With your three kids.  And oh yeah, your youngest happens to be adopted from China?

Kim might just be one of my new heroes.  Check out her Moving Book and how it helped her daughter transition to moving half way across the world.

  1. Thank you for hosting the blog carnival! Anyone who is interested in learning more about orphan hosting should check out New Horizons for Children--they are the largest faith-based orphan hosting organization in the country. NHFC is amazing! www.newhorizonsforchildren.org
