Custom designs!

Good Morning!

I just spent my morning working on the new Beth Moore Esther Study. It is so amazing, I highly recommend it! (click for LPM link).

And like usual, God helped me to see and understand a concept that seems like it should be so obvious, but maybe I am just a bit slow! Here goes...

We are all custom creations, custom designs of the most high King! Just like you and I need inspiration to design a room, the Lord was inspired when he designed you and me. We were created in HIS image.

You know how when you find that one thing that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, the one thing that inspires you to go to the fabric store, buy all new fabric, re-paint the walls and take pictures to post on your blog? That inspiration is what fuels design and we were designed by Godly inspiration.

So today, as we are "designing" the rooms of our homes, remember that we were designed by Him...all of our quirks, the things that make us happy, the things that make us sad, the fact that I want to put turquoise in my living room which currently only has red and yellow in it...all of those things are a reflection of the way God designed us to be.

So get your design on girls! Go be inspired! Remember, you started out as an inspiration in the mind of the most high King!

I am off to buy some glass turquoise bottles I saw at Michael's. Not sure where I will put them, but I love them! I saw this picture in a magazine, don't you love it?
