Wanna be a Siesta?

Girls, it just occurred to me that I have been posting my siesta scripture verse on the side column of my blog for you to read but I have never invited you to be a Siesta with me?  I don't know how I could have over-looked such a thing!

So how about it?  Wanna be a Siesta with me? It would be so much more fun to do together!  Ok, maybe you need to know more.  Here is the scoop:

Siestas are a group of "sisters" from all over the world (yep world) that are dedicated to knowing God's word and putting it to memory.  On the 1st and 15th of every month, we each pick our own scripture verse to memorize...something God is putting on our heart or teaching us.  Then we post it on the LPM blog (CLICK HERE) to share with each other.  There is even a special conference coming up in Houston and all of the Siestas have a chance to get together!

I think you will love our Siesta Mama...her name is Beth!  Beth Moore...anyone heard of her? ha ha! Here is a video she sent to all of us Siestas recently, I thought it might encourage you in your walk!

Anyways, I just wanted to share with you a great resource available to you.  If anyone else is up for the challenge, let me know so we can keep up with each other!!  Also, there is a one day event in the Houston area (January 22nd) and I would love to attend.  But I hate going by myself, wanna come? Every Siesta is invited, gals are flying in from all over. Maybe my mom and sister would want to fly in for the event? (wink, wink!)
