Spiderman Cookies

For real...I made these!

About a month ago, my friend Roxy (no not my mom or the dog...confusing I know!) asked me humored me and let me make cookies for her son's birthday party.  I was so pumped up about the opportunity until.....she said the word SPIDERMAN.

What about the number 4 I suggested?  Or maybe cute initials or how about just a spider web?

But no, the only words uttered from this mom's mouth were SPIDERMAN!

My intial reaction was to call in sick or claim that that my mixer was in the shop...it could happen right?! But alas my conscience got the better part of me and I decided to push through my fear.
And I am so glad I did!

But I would be fibbing if I told you I did it all by myself....I had  help!  So I dedicate this triumphant moment to Callye from The Sweet Adventures of Sugarbelle for sharing her how-to's for Spiderman and to Bridget at Bake at 350 for teaching me everything I know about decorating cookies.

Ooh, and to Hobby Lobby for the cute webby ribbon.  Ribbon makes everything look cute!
Here is the birthday boy...who could turn down this face?

And Sister totally enjoyed herself at the par-tay!

And Roxy and I need to work on our picture taking skills...

I know you want to see Spidee one more time...
BTW...here are some cookies I made for Valentine's Day for all my fellow preschool teachers....

Love to you all!
