Hey All!
Sorry for the lapse (once again) in my updates. The summer started to get way long down here in Houston. The heat was significantly impairing my ability to be creative, witty or otherwise engaging.
If you live down here in this "beyond hot" part of the country (or if you live in a cold climate) you will know just what I am talking about. It happens when the weather has been so stinkin' un-bareable outside, for so long that you actually start to think that breathing fresh air involves changing out the scent in your beloved scentsy candle! You start to think that your whole world consists of the 4 walls that surround your family room.
This is how we felt.....trapped inside, only to view the world from afar!
Your friends start to disappear and hibernate in their own piece of the world because NO ONE can stand to make the trek from their own front door to the car. I mean seriously, it is an ordeal. One has to make sure they have a large, icy drink of some sort (preferable from sonic), one for them and one for each of their kids to take with them in the car. But even before that, one must make a mad dash to the car 10 minutes prior to intended departure time. Not to warm up the engine and scrape off the ice, but to blast the air conditioner so you or your children don't pass out from heat stroke.
But thankfully Fall is here and it is only averaging 95 degrees out. And the world is once again my oyster....is that how the saying goes? Everything is looking up!
Sydney has started Mother's Day Out at a new school and she is loving it! (she looks a little shy here, but her teachers assured me that she led the class in singing and spent most of the day dressed up as "Belle."
So that leaves me with some extra creative time!
Time to work on Baby Bella (I am trying really hard to be more on time with my orders), Time to organize and decorate my own home (wait until you see all the new Christmas decor I just scored!) and of course... time to write about what and who inspires me (watch for my new posts entitled "Be Even More Amazing" or something witty like that)!
Umm...that is what this post was supposed to be about. What inspires me and what I want to share with all of you! Clearly I got off on a tangent about Fall and how I am a whole new person!
What does the Fall do for you?
PS - Am I going crazy...where is the spell check these days? Has it been that long...doesn't blogger have a spell check? I am a Journalism School drop out (I can't believe I just shared that). My passion was always to become a journalist and have my own "Sharee Show" but alas I couldn't pass pass the grammar tests. I can't write without spell check!(update....now I remember, it just underlines the misspelled words and leaves you to figure out how to spell them)

Where did you score all the Xmas decor??? Share!!!!
