My Recent Swap!

Is this not so cute?  I picked out the verse and my friend Nicole did the rest! 

Just so you know...I have not one artisitic bone in my body.  Even my handwritting looks like chicken scratch.  But I have been wanting something to put on Sydney's wall for a long time.  I found lots of cute websites that sold personalized canvases...but none that I could afford!

But then it dawned on me....Nicole had asked me to make a window treatment for her!  So why not ask her if she wanted to swap services?  My labor on a window treatment for a Personalized Canvas for Syd's room?

Ta da!  Here is my window treatment.  It is so hard to get good pictures of windows...but just no that it is spectacular (if I do say so myself!).  Nicole picked out the fabric...I just put it together!

It was a win-win for both of us.  No money exchanged hands...just a bit a time.  I think I need to do this more often.  Anyone want to swap labor on a window treatment for a vacation home in Tuscany? Anyone?  Bueler? Bueler?
